About
In a world where attention is short and trust is earned visually, video is one of the most powerful tools an organisation can use. Whether you're a museum, charity, brand or community group, a well-crafted film can bring your story to life — not just to inform, but to inspire. It's more than just showing what you do — it’s about showing why you do it. Through storytelling, you can connect emotionally with your audience, build trust, and move people to act. That might mean visiting your space, supporting your cause, or choosing your product over another. A strong video can turn passive interest into deeper engagement, loyalty, and even increased footfall or sales.
For those already planning to commission a video, the real magic lies in how the story is told. A documentary-style approach — authentic, human, and cinematic — can help your audience see the people and purpose behind your work. It’s not about being polished or corporate; it’s about being real. When people feel something, they remember you. When they remember you, they’re far more likely to visit, donate, or get involved. Investing in a video isn’t just about creating content — it’s about building a connection that lasts.
I'm a documentary-style filmmaker and editor with over 10 years of experience in creating thoughtful, engaging video content. I began my career working with local artists and community based projects. I then went on to work for museums, charities, and cultural institutions, developing a strong foundation in heritage storytelling. Over time, my work expanded to include corporate clients, franchise marketing agencies, and education projects — always with a focus on authenticity, clarity, and narrative.
From 2013 to 2019, I built a steady freelance practice, producing films across the UK that ranged from short documentaries and explainer animations to multi-camera shoots and time-lapse. I then spent 5 years in full-time in-house roles, gaining valuable insight into production workflows and creative strategy, before returning to freelance work in 2024.
Now, I focus on projects that prioritise story and substance — whether that’s for a brand, a community, or a place of historical importance. I bring calm, clarity, and creative rigour to every stage of production.
